To be effective, the tips and tricks need to be accompanied by work to support you and expand your capacity to feel okay during challenging moments.

That will make you feel better, which will help your child feel better, which will make it easier for them to behave the way you’d like.

Most of the time.

And when it doesn’t, your increased capacity will help you through it.

A highly sensitive and perfectionistic overthinker who was so committed to finding “the answer” to my parenting challenges that I missed out on getting the support I needed to “be the answer” my children were looking for.

Today, I help other parents—many of whom are raising ADHD, autistic, anxious, gifted, and otherwise intense and sensitive children—care for themselves and build parent-child relationships that nourish the whole family.
